Our fiber glass insulation products are green in both manufacturing and their ultimate purpose. For each BTU used to manufacture our products, they save 12 BTUs for every year in use. By helping Americans reduce the energy they use to heat and cool our buildings, less fossil fuel is burned releasing less greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere. When properly installed, insulation will continue to conserve energy for the lifetime of the structure. Plus our insulation is manufactured using a readily renewable material (sand) and recycled glass (this varies by plant but is as much as 35%).

CertainTeed fiber glass insulation products have also achieved GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certification for superior indoor air quality performance.
